Meet the Doctors

Dr. Frank Grosso

Dr. Frank Grosso has been practicing dentistry in Maryland about 40 years serving the Walkersville, Eldersburg, and Libertytown areas. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1981 with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Mount St. Mary’s College. Dr. Grosso obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1986 as he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. While still practicing in private practice, he spent many years as a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Grosso is a member of the Maryland State Dental Association and enjoys participating in continuing education annually.

Originally from Bethpage, Long Island, New York, he has resided in Maryland since 1977 and has lived in Eldersburg since 1987. He has been happily married to his wife, Barb, for many wonderful years, and has three children: Joe, Katie, and Christi. He spends much of his time dedicated to family, especially actively playing with and cheering on his eight grandchildren. Dr. Grosso makes the effort to visit family in New York monthly, volunteering several hours to playing the piano and singing for the members of his mother’s assisted living facility when he goes. He also enjoys being very active in his community including participating with the music ministry at St. Joseph Catholic Church and being a past volunteer sponsor and coach for Freedom Optimist Soccer. His hobbies include racquetball, playing the accordion and piano, exploring new places, and water activities such as scuba diving.

Dr. Katie Grosso

Dr. Katie Grosso grew up right here in Eldersburg, MD. She fell in love with the world of dentistry during the several years she worked at her father’s practices prior to becoming a dentist herself. Dr. Katie obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from Towson University as a Chemistry and Biochemistry double major. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Dr. Katie has previously participated in a missions trip to Honduras and given dental exams to military and underinsured communities. She stays involved with dental associations, and enjoys the process of always learning by participating in plenty of continuing education annually.

Dr. Katie strongly believes in giving her time and enjoys giving back to her community through providing quality dental care, participating in career days at the local schools, providing mock interviews for high schoolers, continuing volunteer work, and participating in community events. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, especially with her husband, Ryan, and two boys, Wyatt and Weston. They like to be outdoors caring for vegetable and flower gardens, tending to their bee hives, and playing in the dirt with tractors and trucks.

Dr. Ben Brigoli

Dr. Ben Brigoli has been a Maryland native since 1994. He went to Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore then obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2022.

Dr. Ben believes that it is important to give back to the community. One way he does this is by volunteering at food drives, specifically, Our Daily Bread in Baltimore.

When Dr. Ben is not working with patients, you can find him playing golf with his wife, Sarice. If the weather outside is not great, you can find him playing videogames on his custom-built PC or cuddling with his two cats, Lola and Winston. He also enjoys indulging in delicious food, exploring new restaurants, and trying different cuisines.

OFFICE MANAGER

April supports a seamless and positive experience for every patient at Grosso Family Dentistry. With over 14 years of experience in the dental industry, she has been an essential part of the Grosso Family Dentistry team since 2016. As a lifetime member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers, she stays current through continuing education. Passionate about patient education—particularly regarding insurance—April values building lasting connections with every patient she meets. Outside the office, April enjoys quality time with her husband, Todd, and their son, Ben. A lifelong Yankees fan and sports enthusiast, she also cherishes visits to her hometown of Easton, PA, to reconnect with family and friends. With her experience and dedication, April plays a key role in making Grosso Family Dentistry a welcoming and efficient place for both patients and the team.

Carol

FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Carol is one of the first people you will meet at our office. Be it in person or on the phone, Carol is always happy to assist you with scheduling, treatment options, account questions or insurance. Making you feel welcome is a top priority! Carol has been a part of the Eldersburg team since December 2017. Carol and her husband have lived here in Eldersburg since 2011. Although she has lived all over the US, she is originally from Annapolis. Carol and Michael have a blended family of five adult children and two rescue cats. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, and home improvement projects.

Jess

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Look, it’s Jess! Jess became a Registered Dental Hygienist after discovering how hard it would be to become a tooth fairy. She loves teeth and gums so much that she is working towards her Masters in Dental Hygiene. Jess is a mischievous, slightly sinister jokester and keeps her wonderful co-workers looking around every corner. She loves to create a humorous and entertaining work atmosphere with her lighthearted and sometimes weird comments. When Jess clocks out of work, she clocks into her Mom job. She worked very hard to create 3 beautiful little girls with some help from her husband. She spends most of her free time molding and shaping the next generation she brought into this world. She is tree-mendously in love with nature, minus the mosquitoes. Nature is her happy place so even though her husband has advised against it, she has transformed her home and yard into a small nature center with plants, canines, felines, reptiles, and aquatic life. She strives to radiate positivity and encourages all to find beauty in even the abnormal and unusual. “Look around. Look at what we have. Mary Kathryn

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Mary Kathryn has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for 39 years. Having been trained by her childhood dentist, she began her career as a Dental Assistant. It was here that she learned the importance of placing the patient first. Compassion and treating her patients like family has always been at the forefront of her training and care. Mary Kathryn has practiced Dental Hygiene in Virginia., California and Maryland. She has been blessed to work with many wonderful practitioners in General, Cosmetic and Periodontal practices. Dental Hygiene has given her the opportunity to give back to the community through Elementary and Preschool presentations, working with the less fortunate in dental programs in schools and lecturing on the importance of treating patients with Periodontal disease. Having spent many years traveling in Montgomery and Howard County, Mary Kathryn is happy to call Eldersburg and Grosso Family Dentistry her home. It's nice to treat patients in the community that she has called home for the past 27 years.

Kayla

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Kayla is a dedicated dental assistant with over five years of experience, passionate about providing excellent patient care and ensuring comfort during treatments. With a strong foundation in dental procedures and patient education, Kayla is currently working toward becoming a dental hygienist. Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé and golden retriever.

Angelina

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Angelina is a passionate and dedicated dental assistant with over 2 years of experience in the field. In addition to her role as a dental assistant, she also serves as a front office administrator, ensuring smooth operations in the practice. Angelina enjoys building strong connections with patients, offering excellent care in a friendly, welcoming environment. Angelina often brings humor to the office which enhances the team’s dynamics. Outside of the office, Angelina enjoys spending her free time on the golf course, hanging out with friends, and attending concerts and sports games. Her energetic personality and enthusiasm make her a valued member of both her work and personal circles.

Diane

FONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

With a career spanning over three decades, Diane is our dedicated Front Office Administrator, bringing a wealth of experience from family, pediatric, and dental surgery settings. Passionate about patient care, Diane expertly manages appointments, navigates insurance complexities, and provides compassionate support, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every patient. Diane understands the importance of clear communication and personalized attention, ensuring each patient feels informed and comfortable. A resident of the Ballenger Creek area, Diane is proud to contribute to the community through providing excellent patient care at our practice. Outside of work, Diane enjoys spending time with family and watching sports with her husband Dustin.

Daniela

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Daniela is a Dental Assistant at our Libertytown location. She began her career in 2024 and wants to keep on learning more about the dental world. She was raised and born in a small town in El Salvador. On the job Daniela strives to help patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She loves working with kids and loves to ensure they have the best experience possible while in the dental chair. Outside the office Daniela likes to spend time with her family and friends! She loves the beach and watching the sunsets.

Chelsea

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Chelsea is a Dental Assistant at our Libertytown location. She began her dental assisting career in 2014. When working, Chelsea strives to help patients feel relaxed while providing quality care. During her free time, she enjoys playing with her dogs and spending time with family and friends.
