Meet the Doctors

Dr. Frank Grosso

Dr. Frank Grosso has been practicing dentistry in Maryland for 30 years, serving the Walkersville, Eldersburg, and Libertytown areas. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1981 with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Mount St. Mary’s College. Dr. Grosso obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1986, as he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He is currently a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, a member of the Maryland State Dental Association, and participates in continuing education annually.

Originally from Bethpage, Long Island, New York, he has resided in Maryland since 1977 and has lived in Eldersburg since 1987. He has been happily married to his wife, Barb, for many wonderful years, and has three children: Joe, Katie, and Christi. Dr. Grosso enjoys being active in his community, including participating with the music ministry at St. Joseph Catholic Church and being a sponsor and coach for Freedom Optimist Soccer. His hobbies include racquetball, playing the accordion and piano, exploring new places, and water activities such as scuba diving.

Dr. Katie Grosso

Dr. Katie Grosso was born and raised in Eldersburg, MD. She fell in love with the world of dentistry during the several years she worked at her father’s practices prior to becoming a dentist herself. Dr. Katie obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree from Towson University as a Chemistry and Biochemistry double major. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She is a member of the Maryland State Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, and participates in continuing education annually.

Dr. Katie participated in a mission trip to Honduras in 2013 with a team of 50 people, including other dentists and health care providers. There, she and the group provided services and education to thousands of individuals who wouldn’t otherwise have the means to receive them. Dr. Katie strongly believes in giving her time in service of others and enjoys giving back to her community through providing quality dental care, participating in career days at the local schools, providing mock interviews for high school juniors, continuing volunteer work, and participating in community events. Her hobbies include drawing and painting, planning and attending events with family and friends, spending time outdoors, playing the clarinet and saxophone, visiting new places, and scuba diving. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Ryan, and can never get enough of her two boys, Wyatt and Weston!

Dr. Ben Brigoli

Dr. Ben Brigoli was born and raised in Columbia, MD. He went to Mount Saint Joseph High School, then continued his education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, obtaining a bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Ben believes in giving back to the community and helping in need. He has participated in multiple food drives, but his favorite is Our Daily Bread in Baltimore. Outside of work, Dr. Ben enjoys playing videogames on his custom built PC, playing with his one year old kitten, and trying new foods with his wife.

Meet the Eldersburg Team

April

OFFICE MANAGER

April is the first person you will meet when you enter Grosso Family Dentistry. She began her career in the dental field in 2010 at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. April enjoys making connections and forming lasting relationships with patients. She is a member of The American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) and is committed to expanding her expertise through continuing education courses. Originally from Easton, Pennsylvania April moved to Eldersburg in 2003. When she’s not in the office April values spending time with her husband, Todd, and their grown son, Ben. She is an avid sports fan and especially enjoys baseball. She has been a Yankees fan her whole life! April is very proud to be a part of Grosso Family Dentistry and looks forward to getting to know you!

Carol

FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Carol is one of the first people you will meet at our office. Be it in person or on the phone, Carol is glad to assist you with scheduling, account questions or insurance. Making you feel welcome is her top priority! As a former educator in her, Carol has enjoyed the intellectual challenge of working in dentistry. Carol has been a part of the Eldersburg team since December 2017. Carol and her husband live right here in Eldersburg. They have a blended family of five children and two rescue cats. As a sports and music mom, free time is at a premium! When possible, Carol enjoys entertaining friends and family, is an avid reader, and loves to travel. She and her husband are also active home renovators.

Jessica

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Jess is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She adores her job and all things dental. She loves it so much that she is currently working towards her Masters in Dental Hygiene! One thing she loves even more is her family. Jess’ greatest accomplishment so far is creating three awesome little girls (with some help from her wonderful husband, of course). She enjoys nature and gardening, minus the mosquitoes who seem to appreciate her presence as soon as she goes outside. She has 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a snake. Jess adores all animals, and would snuggle a crocodile if she knew it wouldn’t bite her. She is so blessed and happy to work with so many fun and open-minded ladies and gentlemen, who put up with her mischievous ways and trickery in the workplace.

Angela

FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Angela is one of the wonderful dental hygienists at Grosso Family Dentistry. She has been in the dental field since 2000. She started her dental career as a dental assistant for six years, then completed her A.A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene at Baltimore City Community College in 2006. Angela has a passion for helping her patients overcome their anxiety at the dentist. Outside of the office, she loves being active. She enjoys exercising and competing in obstacle course races!

Maggie

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Maggie began her dental career in 2017. In 2018 Maggie joined Grosso Family Dentistry as a dental assistant. She uses her passion and interest for dentistry to build professional friendships and to help our patients feel comfortable during their time in the dental chair. Outside of the office, Maggie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and being outdoors. Above all else, Maggie enjoys being a mother to her daughter who she and her husband welcomed in 2020.

Kayla

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Kayla is a Dental assistant here at Grosso Family Dentistry. Kayla’s passion for the dental field has grown since joining our office in 2020 and she aims to further expand her career in dentistry. On the job, patient comfort is Kayla’s top priority. Outside the office, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family, friends and reorganizing her apartment.

Betsy

FRONT OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Betsy is a native of Ellicott City, Maryland. She began working in the dental field in 1985 as a dental assistant, receiving her degree from The Medix School. Her experience spans over thirty-three years, with twenty-five of those as an Office Account Manager. As a current Carroll County resident, she enjoys serving her community with the highest quality of care possible. It gives her great satisfaction every day to work alongside the people she considers family and ensuring our patients are getting the most out of their insurance carriers. Aside from working, Betsy loves spending time with her five grown children, three grandchildren, mother, stepfather, and most of all spending time with her husband vacationing in Florida and cruising!

Jessica

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Jessica has been working with Dr. Frank for over 10 years! She grew up right here on the outskirts of town! On the job, she uses her calming and friendly demeanor to help patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. Jessica understands the value and importance of dental care and enjoys being an integral part of bringing dental services to her community. Outside of the office, Jessica balances being a wife & mom and is loving every minute of it!

Chelsea is a Dental Assistant at our Libertytown location. She began her career in 2014. When working, Chelsea strives to help patients feel relaxed while providing quality care. During her free time, she enjoys playing with her dogs and spending time with family and friends.
